Tomas Rosicky scored his first Premier League goal to break Wigan’s hearts as Arsenal fought back all the way from a goal down in the final 10 minutes to move back into the top-four standings.
Wigan broke the deadlock with Denny Landzaat’s superb strike from 35 yards, Jens Lehmann had no chance.
Luckily for the Gunners, Emile Heskey hit the post and missed a good opportunity to put Wigan further ahead, while Thierry Henry was also wasteful in front of the opposition.
But Fitz Hall ended up putting the ball into his own net to concede the equaliser and Arsenal’s Rosicky headed in Julio Baptista’s cross.

Manchester United ended Arsenal’s perfect start to the season by winning the fixture 2-1 win at Old Trafford.
Abou Diaby scored an own goal through one of Ryan Giggs’ free-kicks in the 64th minute after Wayne Rooney’s penalty levelled United with the Gunners. It was Andrey Arshavin who opened the scoring with his goal in the first half.
