Arsenal have been handed a major boost ahead of their Europa League fixture against BATE Borisov.
The Gunners will be travelling to Belarus for the first leg of the Round of 32 tie and they are set to receive 4 of their star figures back in the lineup.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang missed the 1-2 Premier League victory over Huddersfield Town last weekend but he has been deemed fit for the Thursday fixture.
Mesut Ozil has also been made available although it is unclear whether Unai Emery does plan on selecting the German playmaker. Ozil’s absence from the squad on Saturday raised further questions regarding his future with the club.
Both men took part in the club’s training at London Colney on Wednesday morning. Sokratis Papastathopoulos and Granit Xhaka has also recovered from their respective injuries, the former’s being more serious.
Sokratis went down with an ankle sprain during the Gunners’ 1-3 FA Cup defeat against Manchester United last month. He was predicted to return towards the end of February but it seems like the Greek international is ready to go.
Aaron Ramsey, unfortunately, will be missing out on the mid-week draw as he is still nursing a minor knee injury. Hector Bellerin, Rob Holding and Danny Welbeck are set to miss the rest of the season.
