Bournemouth forward Antoine Semenyo is reportedly “very open” to joining Arsenal this summer if he departs the Vitality Stadium, according to journalist Ben Jacobs via GIVEMESPORT.

Gunners Fan at Heart: Semenyo Would ‘Love’ Arsenal Move This Summer

The Ghana international is attracting attention following a standout season in the Premier League, and a move to North London could be on the cards.

The 24-year-old registered nine goals and six assists in 35 league appearances during the 2024/25 campaign, establishing himself as a key figure for the Cherries.

His explosive pace, versatility, and work rate have not gone unnoticed, with both Arsenal and Manchester United reportedly monitoring his situation.

While the Gunners are not yet in advanced talks, they are keeping tabs on Semenyo, who grew up in South London and is an admitted Arsenal fan.

“If Semenyo is to leave, he would be very open to Arsenal and London,” Jacobs said.

“I believe he grew up as an Arsenal fan, even as a kid.”

Semenyo previously expressed his admiration for the club in an interview with The Athletic, stating, “It is great to play against Arsenal, a team I have watched all my life.”

That admiration could soon turn into reality, should Arsenal decide to make a formal approach.

However, Arsenal’s current focus remains on strengthening the left flank and centre-forward positions, meaning Semenyo might need to wait for his opportunity.

The North Londoners are reportedly prioritizing other targets, including Real Madrid’s Dean Huijsen and Bournemouth’s Milos Kerkez.

One potential stumbling block could be Bournemouth’s valuation. The south coast club are believed to be asking for around £70 million for Semenyo—an amount that may give interested clubs pause.

Despite that, Semenyo’s performances this season have turned heads, with Dimitar Berbatov even calling him “unbelievable.”

In March, Semenyo assisted in Bournemouth’s 2-1 win over Arsenal at the Emirates—a performance that may have added further weight to his growing reputation.

Whether or not a deal materializes, one thing is clear: Semenyo’s dream move to the Emirates remains alive, and Arsenal are watching.
