The 20-year-old forward spent a season-long loan at Southampton and is expected to return to Chelsea for their pre-season games.
He made 32 appearances for the Saints last seasons bagging six goals and one assist.
He has been in impressive form in his debut Premier League season and garnered attention from some of the top English clubs this summer.
Newly-promoted Nottingham Forest and Arsenal are interested in the youngster but his future still remains undecided with Chelsea.
He could be sent out on another season-long loan or could be sold permanently in this summer.
But former Chelsea defender Glen Johnson has suggested the youngster to sign for the Hammers instead of Arsenal.
he said: “He [Broja] fits the profile of a striker that West Ham should be looking to sign.
“He’s been scoring goals in the Premier League and looks like a tidy finisher. They definitely need a natural goalscorer in their squad, and if West Ham had an out and out goalscorer in their side this season, then that could have made the difference.”
