Arsenal Agree Deal To Bring Transfer Honcho

Arsenal are closing on Ramon Rodriguez Verdejo also fondly known as Monchi as the club is looking to appoint him as the new sporting director.

Monchi would be filling the shoes of Sven Mislintat who left his position as the head of recruitment after falling out with the Gunners board. The North Londoners have been on the lookout for a potential replacement of Mislintat and have identified Monchi for the position.

The current AS Roma man is very much in demand and his connection with Unai Emery has given Arsenal a massive advantage in his signing. A meagre £2m would be needed to acquire his service and we could see the man switching his allegiance before the season gets over.

Monchi will be responsible for the recruiting operation and will oversee the summer business. He has already agreed to terms and talks are on the last stages as a deal could be finalized anytime soon.

A number of players with the likes of Aaron Ramsey and Mesut Ozil are likely to leave the club and the club needs to bring in possible replacements for them. Over the years Monchi has discovered a number of world class players and Arsenal would be hoping he continues to operate with the same efficiency.
