Arsenal have reportedly agreed personal terms with Chelsea winger Noni Madueke, the 23‑year‑old England international, as the Gunners look to strengthen their attack ahead of the upcoming season.

London Double? Arsenal Agree Terms with Chelsea Winger Madueke

Madueke, a former PSV Eindhoven academy graduate, has scored 20 goals in 91 appearances since arriving at Stamford Bridge in January 2023.

He also made a substitute appearance in Chelsea’s 2‑1 quarter‑final win against Palmeiras in the Club World Cup in Abu Dhabi.

Despite personal terms being in place, no formal talks have yet taken place between Arsenal and Chelsea over the transfer fee.

Estimates from talkSPORT suggest the fee could land between £55–60 million, while other sources put the target at around £40–50 million, potentially with add-ons.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is keen to add depth and versatility to the squad—Madueke can play on either wing and offers cover for Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli.

The Gunners have already struck a positive tone in dealings with Chelsea this summer, evident in the recent arrival of Kepa Arrizabalaga for £5 m.

Meanwhile, Chelsea head coach Enzo Maresca has hinted at a reshuffle of their forward options, stressing his preference for players who are happy at Stamford Bridge and welcoming competition following the arrivals of Joao Pedro, Jamie Gittens, Liam Delap, and Estevao Willian. His comments suggest the club may be amenable to letting Madueke depart.

If completed, the move would mark another high-profile London switch and reinforce Arsenal’s ambitions to bolster their creative options in what has become a pivotal summer window.

With Rodrygo and Eberechi Eze also on the radar, securing Madueke’s deal quickly could pave the way for other key signings.
