Brazilian winger Rodrygo is reportedly open to joining Arsenal in the January transfer window as frustration grows over his sparse playing time at Real Madrid.
According to recent reports by TEAMtalk, the 24-year-old has signalled a willingness to look elsewhere and Arsenal have re-opened communication with his representatives.
Under Real Madrid head coach Xabi Alonso, Rodrygo has started only a handful of matches this season.
Despite featuring off the bench several times, he has had limited opportunities to play significant minutes, prompting concerns over his place in Brazil’s squad ahead of the upcoming World Cup.
Arsenal are believed to be among a handful of Premier League clubs keeping tabs on the Brazilian forward.
While Real Madrid value him in the region of €80–90 million (roughly £70–79 million), a January deal still appears difficult. The club reportedly prefers to retain him until summer.
Still, with intermediaries now actively exploring possible exits for Rodrygo — and with him apparently giving serious consideration to leaving the move to Arsenal remains on the cards.
Sources say that both parties have begun preliminary discussions, though nothing is yet concrete.
For Arsenal, who have previously expressed interest, Rodrygo could represent a high-quality addition to their forward line, offering pace and flair on the wing.
For the winger, a switch may offer the regular minutes he needs to re-establish himself ahead of the global showpiece next summer.
