Arsenal are reportedly leading the race to sign Paris Saint-Germain striker Randal Kolo Muani, as the Gunners aim to bolster their attacking options.

Despite their strong performances in the Premier League and Champions League, manager Mikel Arteta is keen on adding a top-quality number nine to maintain competitiveness.

The club’s previous attempts to sign Aston Villa’s Ollie Watkins in the January transfer window were unsuccessful, and while Watkins remains on their radar, alternative options are being explored.

Kolo Muani, who transferred from Eintracht Frankfurt to PSG in 2023 for approximately €95 million (£79 million), has struggled to secure a regular starting position under manager Luis Enrique.

This season, he has made 14 appearances across all competitions, starting only twice and contributing two goals and one assist. His limited playing time has led to speculation about a potential move away from PSG.

According to reports, PSG are open to offloading Kolo Muani and have offered him to several Premier League clubs, including Arsenal, Manchester United, Manchester City, Newcastle United, Chelsea, and Aston Villa.

The French club is reportedly willing to consider a loan deal with an obligation to buy, providing a potential opportunity for Arsenal to secure the striker’s services without an immediate significant financial outlay.

In addition to Kolo Muani, Arsenal have shown interest in other attacking options. Newcastle United’s Alexander Isak is considered a dream target for Arteta, but Newcastle’s reluctance to sell and a potential £130 million price tag make this move challenging.

Wolverhampton Wanderers’ forward Matheus Cunha has also been linked with the Gunners, with reports suggesting that Wolves might accept offers below his £62 million release clause.

As the summer transfer window approaches, Arsenal’s pursuit of a top striker continues, with Kolo Muani emerging as a viable option to strengthen their attacking lineup.
