According to SportBild, Hugo Larsson, a midfielder for Eintracht Frankfurt, is a target for several teams, including Arsenal. With potential exits, the Gunners are probably going to bolster their midfield. The contracts of Jorginho and Thomas Partey expire on June 30. As of right now, the pair may depart on free transfers after the conclusion of the campaign.

The Gunners have reportedly nearly concluded a deal for Martin Zubimendi, a player from Real Sociedad, who has been predicted to join the team. Nonetheless, the team is still being connected to other midfield players. According to SportBild, Larsson from Eintracht is a target for the team this summer.

Since Eintracht is virtually certain to qualify for the Champions League the next season, they have set a lofty goal of £51 million to let go of the 20-year-old. Although it is expected that Larsson would seek a more challenging challenge outside of the Bundesliga team, Eintracht has advised him to remain for an additional 12 months. Manchester City and Liverpool may compete with Arsenal for his services.

Arsenal wants to pay 60 million euros for Swedish midfielder

When Jorginho’s contract with the Gunners expires this summer, they will probably let him go. The midfield player’s free transfer to Flamengo has been strongly suggested. Given his strong play this season, the club has begun contract negotiations with Partey, and the Ghanaian may stay for an additional year or two.

We believe that even if the team were to acquire Zubimendi, they would still need to retain Partey. It might take a while for the latter to get used to the Premier League’s intensity. Larsson has also reportedly attracted the attention of Arsenal, but given their aspirations for the championship, we don’t see the team investing heavily in a young player.

The team may sign a backup goalkeeper, a versatile winger, and a marquee striker this summer in addition to a defensive midfielder. Jakub Kiwior’s desire to leave for regular playing time may lead to a target for a new center defender. Given this, it is improbable that Arsenal will spend £51 million on Larsson, given that they want a comparable deal in order to sign Zubimendi.
