Arsenal had a very busy summer as Unai Emery was appointed as the new manager of the club after Arsene Wenger decided to leave the club after 22 years. The Spaniard signed a three-year deal worth £15 million.
Gunners didn’t got off to a great start as they began life under the new manager with back-to-back defeats against their big rivals Chelsea and Manchester City.
But since then there have been a complete turn around for the club , won their next 4 Premier League games against West Ham United, Cardiff City, Newcastle United and Everton in a row. The London Outfit started their Europa League campaign on a winning note too, beat Vorskla 4-2.
However, it has been suggested that the Spaniard will need more transfer windows to make them strong enough to challenge for silverware and could make more additions during the January transfer window.
Arsenal are credited with an interest in Lille attacker Nicolas Pele by France Football.
The winger joined the French side last summer for an undisclosed fee, signing a 5 year contract. He established himself as a regular for the club last season and managed to score an impressive 13 goals.
The Ivory Coast International has started the new campaign in fine form with four goals and three assists in 6 games.
The 23 year old’s impressive performances have alerted clubs across and has already attracted scouts from Sevilla. He even turned down the chance to leave LOSC in the summer, with Southampton and Lyon came closest to securing his signature.
Manchester United are also reportedly interested in signing him as Jose Mourinho wants a direst, fast winger and could lock horns in January to secure his signature.
Lille know his signature is in high demand and are holding out for a £30 million offer before they decide to let him leave.
