Arsenal would have to make a sizable offer if they are to snap Joao Cancelo up this summer.
Arsenal are figuring out their plans for the upcoming summer transfer window and they have made focus on Barcelona full-back Joao Cancelo. As per the fresh report of the Sun, the Gunners are eyeing a move for Joao Cancelo.
The Portuguese defender is currently playing on loan from Manchester City this summer. The North London club are showing interest in signing Cancelo when he returns to Man City from his loan spell.
Cancelo’s current contract at Man City will end in the summer of 2027 and his parent club wants to sell him during the summer. Arsenal would have to make a sizable offer if they are to snap him up this summer.
The Barca full-back could be a great addition for Arsenal considering his form. He has scored four goals and provided four assists in 32 matches for the Catalan giants this season across all competitions.
The 29-year-old usually clears the danger when required and can shoot the ball with power and accuracy from long range. Meanwhile, Barcelona are also planning to offer him a permanent contract in the summer. But, their financial situation can push Arsenal to win the race.
