According to Caught Offside, Arsenal is expected to make an initial bid of £69 million for Real Madrid attacker Rodrygo. With Mikel Arteta adding Kepa Arrizabalaga, Martin Zubimendi, Christian Norgaard, and Noni Madueke to his team and a deal for striker Viktor Gyokeres moving forward, the Gunners have been active in the transfer market thus far this summer.

However, the North London giants are still eager to bolster their squad’s firepower, and the Brazil star has become a priority target. An initial bid is being prepared. Following the hiring of new manager Xabi Alonso, Rodrygo—who Neymar has called unbelievable for his style of play—has become a player that the La Liga team may be considering selling.

According to reports, Arsenal is the front-runner to sign him despite interest from teams like Chelsea, Liverpool, and Paris Saint-Germain. They are now prepared to put Real Madrid to the test with a strong first bid.

Arsenal set to make £69m bid to sign unbelievable forward

Real Madrid is anticipated to demand at least £86 million (€100 million) in order to allow him to depart, while the Gunners are willing to make an offer of £69 million (€80 million). Arsenal is willing to try to persuade Madrid to reduce their expectations in order to close a deal, even if it is known that they are not willing to go that far.

The cost is undoubtedly significant, and clubs that are interested are unlikely to spend that much. Rodrygo may still be available, though, since some of Europe’s top clubs are interested in signing him.

The Merseyside club is still interested in him, but they haven’t taken any action as of yet. Arsenal, their competitors, is trying to outpace them in the meantime. Rodrygo is at the top of the Gunners’ wish list as they look to strengthen the left wing this summer.

After some time spent negotiating a possible deal, Andrea Berta is now prepared to make an initial offer of €80 million. The North London club may get an advantage over other clubs as a result of this. They are still far from Los Blancos’ asking price, so it is doubtful they will finalize the deal.
