As arrangements for the upcoming season are being prepared, Italian powerhouse AC Milan has identified Gabriel Martinelli as a possible recruit, and Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has refused to rule out approving his exit, according to GIVEMESPORT sources.

A player from Arsenal may be ready to sell the £50 million asset because he is on AC Milan’s shortlist, according to reports, putting his future in jeopardy.

This summer, Arsenal is considering acquiring a number of well-known attackers. Their current favorites in center areas are Viktor Gyokeres and Benjamin Sesko, while Nico Williams is being mentioned as a possible wide strengthener.

As it appears like Rafael Leao may depart this summer, they claim that Arsenal has “started to show signs that they could be ready to sell him” and that AC Milan has “added him to their shortlist” of possible acquisitions. Martinelli, who had a successful season in the last third, has been identified as a potential left flank answer.

Gunners could opt to sanction Martinelli’s exit

GMS sources claim that Martinelli’s future at Arsenal is in jeopardy because the capital club has begun to indicate that they may be prepared to sell him after AC Milan added him to their list of possible recruits as they get ready for Rafael Leao to possibly leave for the defending Bundesliga champions, Bayern Munich.

Following Martinelli’s successful 2024–25 season in the final third of the field, GMS sources have learned that AC Milan has identified him as a potential left flank solution. They want to have a backup in case they can’t convince Leao to stay at the San Siro.

GMS sources have learned that AC Milan has been monitoring Martinelli’s condition as they consider whether to escalate the situation by engaging in negotiations. As they prepare for Leao’s possible departure, they are also considering Jack Grealish, the Manchester City outcast, as a backup option.
