Saka came from the Champions League clash against Porto.
Arsenal attacker Bukayo Saka will not take part in England’s international ahead of the international friendlies. The Three Lions have announced that Saka has pulled out of the squad due to injury.
It also left Arsenal in trouble ahead of the club’s crucial clash against Manchester City in the Premier League. It will be a top-of-the-table clash in English top-flight.
The 22-year-old is going to miss friendlies with Brazil and Belgium, to be played at Wembley on March 23 and 26 respectively.
Saka came from the Champions League clash against Porto and since then, he was unable to take part in team training on Wednesday. England have confirmed that he left the camp now.
England football team said in a statement that Saka had been nursing the unspecified issue and no replacement will be called up by the manager.
Three Lions issues a statement, “Bukayo Saka has left the England camp and returned to his club for continued rehabilitation. The Arsenal forward reported to St. George’s Park with an injury and has been unable to participate in training.”
“No further replacements are planned as a 25-man England squad continue their preparation for the forthcoming internationals with Brazil and Belgium.”
Saka is the third Arsenal player to withdraw from international friendlies after Brazil’s Gabriel Magalhaes and Gabriel Martinelli.
