The Gunners boss looked satisfied but hinted of one more signing.
Unai Emery looked happy and satisfied with Arsenal’s performance in the ongoing transfer window but they are also looking to provide more depth to the squad.
The manager has also hinted for a possible signing before the transfer window closes.
Arsenal had a very busy transfer market as they signed 5 players. Stephan Lichtsteiner, Bernd Leno, Sokratis Papastathopoulos, Lucas Torreira and Matteo Guendouzi are the five signing the club has made in the transfer window.
In talks with the Official Arsenal Site, the manager looked satisfied but still believes in grabbing the given opportunities. He said, “I am very happy with how the club is working and we are working every day on how we can improve,”
“I am with the players and those who have arrived this week, I am very happy with and I said at the last press conference that if there is an opportunity to try to sign one player, then we are looking.”
The manager looks to sign a winger s his priority in the last stage of the transfer window.
Bayern Munich winger Kingsley Coman was liked with a possible move to the Emirates stadium.
The player hinted of a move but denied the linkups. when asked about his future, the player said, “Normally, yes.”
However when asked about the Arsenal linkups the player denied the rumours. He said,
“Normally means normally. I am at Bayern now. I extended my contract for five years, so normally I will stay here. I had no contact [with] Arsenal.”
Arsenal will be facing champions Manchester City and Chelsea coming in their first two games to start their 2018-19 Premier League season.
