Bukayo Saka has become a key player for Arsenal since breaking into the first team.
According to journalist Paul Brown, Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka is not far off agreeing his new contract at the Emirates Stadium,
The England international will see his contract expiring in 2024 but Arsenal wants to get one of their most prized assets tied down to fresh terms.
According to 90min, the North London club is pushing hard to secure Saka’s long-term future, along with teammates Gabriel Martinelli and William Saliba, with The Sun calming that Arsenal are prepared to pay him £125,000 per week.
The 21-year-old has become a key player for the Gunners since breaking into the first team three years ago, which has allowed him to go on and play 139 times in all competitions.
But Saka’s last contract came back in July 2020, meaning he’s halfway through his current deal and has the likes of Manchester City and Real Madrid on his radar.
He told GIVEMESPORT: “I think it’s just a matter of time from what I’m hearing about Saka’s contract.
“He’s perfectly happy at Arsenal, there isn’t really a big club pushing to get him out of there because I think they know that he’s happy at Arsenal and wants to develop there.”
Saka scored once in eight games in all competitions, although he has registered a goal contribution in each of his last four Premier League outings.
