According to a report that reveals Tottenham Hotspur’s position on the Argentina international, Arsenal has decided not to pursue a move for Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho, despite the Gunners expressing initial interest. TEAMtalk also reveals the club believes Garnacho is very likely to join this summer.

With manager Ruben Amorim telling the winger at the end of the previous season that he is free to leave after he complained about not starting the Europa League final against Tottenham, Garnacho has no future at Manchester United.

According to a July 4 X article by trustworthy journalist Fabrizio Romano, Garnacho “informed Manchester United” that he wanted “to leave” together with four other players.

Given that the summer transfer market closes on September 1, Man Utd and Garnacho must move quickly to finalize their separation.

It has now been revealed that the explosive Argentina international winger, who has made 144 appearances for the Red Devils and scored 26 goals and provided 22 assists, would have had an escape route in Arsenal.

Arsenal’s final decision on Alejandro Garnacho

Garnacho and Chelsea are reportedly on personal terms, and talks over a price are still underway. United has already lowered their asking price since the Blues’ interest in January, and they have until September 1 to finalize a transaction.

Ruben Amorim, the manager of United, expressed his thoughts on Garnacho’s future in early August. The manager remarked, “I think you can understand and see that Garnacho is talented; he’s a really talented boy.”

Arsenal “did due diligence on Garnacho, but the north London club eventually decided to abandon their interest in the 21-year-old,” according to The Manchester Evening News.

Eberechi Eze, an attacking midfielder for Crystal Palace, was a target for Arsenal’s sports director Andrea Berta and manager Mikel Arteta, who later signed winger Noni Madueke from Chelsea.

According to Rudy Galetti, TEAMtalk’s transfer correspondent, Garnacho and Chelsea have reached a personal agreement. The Argentine star has made it plain that he only wants to join Chelsea this summer, according to sources who spoke to TEAMtalk.
