Arsenal are interested in signing Malang Sarr who recently became a free agent.
OGC Nice confirmed the 21-year-old had left the club after the expiration of his deal last month.
Several clubs are hot on his heels including Arsenal. Goal defunct news about the Gunners already tabling an offer to the Frenchman. That is not the case just yet but Arsenal are considering him strongly. Mikel Arteta’s need for defensive reinforcement has been well established now and Sarr could be just the man.
He will arrive for nothing which fits perfectly into Arsenal’s lacking transfer budget for the summer. Arteta has already called for investments which are very evident from his recent press conferences. Sarr is also a talented young centre-back, a willing passer and ready to play on the front foot. His strong left foot and pace makes him a versatile option on the left side of the defence as well.
Arsenal have previously scouted the centre-back in 2016. Now is the golden opportunity to get him but they will need to step up in their pursuit. Torino have already propped ahead with a contract offer on their own. The Gunners have the advantage of being a more glamourous option but they will need to move on in quick.
