As Inter Milan softens its stance on signing the World Cup champion, Lautaro Martinez may become available to Arsenal at the end of this season
Since last season, Arsenal has been pursuing his signing; however, Inter retained him after initially losing Romelu Lukaku to Chelsea.
Since then, Martinez has been in excellent form for them and has significantly impacted how well they have played this season. Due to this, a number of clubs have expressed interest in him once more, including Arsenal.
He is one of the frontmen Manchester United is considering signing, according to Football Insider, and Inter Milan has relaxed its stance on his future.
The Italians are currently waiting for offers and will let him go if they get one they deem acceptable. Martinez is a good striker who routinely outperforms for Inter Milan both domestically and in Europe, so if he joins us, we will receive a good frontman.
If he is a top target, though, there will be stiff competition from Manchester United and other teams, so we must work hard to recruit him before they do. To see if we would release some players to make place for him or another quality striker would be intriguing.
