He was recently pictured training.
Kieran Tierney’s Arsenal career has been a stop-start one. He arrived from Celtic in late August with an injury that took until October to heal, played for a bit in the Europa League and the domestic division and then suffered a dislocated shoulder against West Ham in December.
Initially, he was scheduled to return in March however, recent training pictures had the Gunners’ hopes up, as the Scot was out and about on the pitches in late January.
The Athletic‘s David Ornstein has dashed that these hopes. He reports that Tierney will only make a comeback in mid- to late March. He does train outdoors but can’t take part in any contact work.
Sead Kolasinac’s return is still uncertain. Gunners fans will keep their fingers crossed Bukayo Saka makes a swift recovery too after the youngster needed to be taken off during the weekend’s Burnley match.
