5. Joao Cancelo – Arsenal Defender Transfer Targets
Joao Cancelo was part of Arsenal’s wishlist in the previous summer but he was denied by Man City. Ahead of the current season, he agreed personal terms to join Barcelona. In the final moments of the summer transfer window, Bayern contacted Man City to re-acquire Cancelo on loan once again, due to Barcelona’s financial difficulties but Barcelona confirmed the signing on a season-long loan.
Arsenal can push for the signing in the winter signing as they re struggling with the injury issue of Timber who is out due to an ACL injury. It’s a long-term injury and Cancelo would be a good choice at Emirates.
