Arsenal is keen to part ways with Kieran Tierney this summer, as the club grows increasingly frustrated with the defender’s injury woes. Tierney, once a cornerstone under Unai Emery and a promising player in Mikel Arteta’s early days, now finds himself surplus to requirements at the Emirates.

Since his arrival, Tierney’s time in North London has been a rollercoaster. Fans saw glimpses of brilliance overshadowed by persistent injuries. His frequent absences forced Arsenal to turn to Oleksandr Zinchenko, who has since solidified his position in the starting lineup.

Last season, Tierney spent a year on loan at Real Sociedad, hoping to rejuvenate his career. Unfortunately, his injury troubles followed him to Spain, leading the La Liga side to opt against making his move permanent.

Despite managing to represent Scotland at Euro 2024, another setback struck before their exit from the tournament, leaving Tierney back on the treatment table.

Arsenal’s management has run out of patience. They are now actively seeking buyers for the 27-year-old, eager to free up space in the squad and wages.

Football Insider reports that the Gunners are inviting offers, determined to offload Tierney in this transfer window. The club’s urgency is clear—they want him gone before the new season kicks off.

Tierney’s potential departure marks the end of a chapter that began with high hopes but has been marred by misfortune. For Arsenal, it’s about moving forward and ensuring they have a fit and reliable squad for the challenges ahead.
