Arsenal edging closer to completing first signing of the summer transfer window

Arteta need a full-back who can help to boost their defence.

As per the fresh report, the Gunners are planning to complete their first signing of the season. They are edging closer to completing the process.

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta is focusing on the Premier League title race. They will play their final game this Sunday and look for the favour from West Ham. If West Ham defeats Man City, Arsenal can end their title jinx of 20 years.

Arsenal are currently sitting second in the table and two points behind reigning champions Manchester City at the summit.

According to journalist Sacha Tavolieri, the North London club are planning to sign Fenerbahce left-back. Kadioglu is on radar of the Gunners.

Tavolieri adds that sources close to the player have confirmed that talks with the player’s side are ‘already ongoing’ in the hope of reaching an agreement over personal terms.

The North Londoners are yet to officially open negotiations with Fenerbahce. Arteta need a full-back who can help to boost their defence.

Kadioglu has spent the last six years at Fenerbahce and has made a total of 197 appearances in all competitions. He has 17 goals and 22 assists during the process.
