Along with rivals from the Premier League, Arsenal, Milan has entered the race to acquire promising French right-back Sacha Boey

Right-back Boey, who is currently playing for Galatasaray, is being watched by Milan. The Rossoneri will strive to feel ready if the chance of actually signing the player arises. It is predicted that the future of the defender will be one of the major transfer stories in Turkish football in the upcoming transfer window.

The youth programmes at Ligue 1 club Stade Rennais have produced many talented individuals over the years, including Sacha Boey. He has played for France at the under-17, under-18, and under-20 levels, but he hasn’t settled on his country of allegiance because he is also qualified to represent Cameroon.

The 22-year-old was chosen for both the initial squad for the 2021 African Cup of Nations and the initial squad for the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers, but he was left out of each squad due to his uncertainty about which country to play for in the future.

Along with Milan, Arsenal of the Premier League has expressed interest in the talent. Boey’s case is expected to reignite competition among several clubs after Udinese’s earlier unsuccessful attempt to sign the player.

Sergino Dest, a Milan loanee from Barcelona, faces an uncertain future due to underwhelming performances and the club hierarchy’s decision not to exercise the right to purchase at the conclusion of the current campaign. The absence of the USA international will leave a vacancy at right-back, and sporting director Paulo Maldini will undoubtedly appreciate Sacha Boey as a potential replacement.
