Gabriel Martinelli has struggled for form since the start of 2023.
The Brazil international is yet to score a goal in 2023 and his only goal contribution was an assist in the FA Cup win over Oxford United.
The Gunners have not won any of their last four games, losing three in the process and also handing their top spot to Manchester City in the Premier League.
Man City beat Arsenal 3-1 at the Emirates on Wednesday night to go top at the table with Arsenal still having a game in hand.
Martinelli who had a bright start to the 2022/23 campaign where he scored seven and assisted two is struggling to find the back of the net in 2023.
‘I think I can improve. I think everyone in the team can improve,’ Martinelli told the Evening Standard after the City loss.
‘I always try to rewatch the game and see what my mistakes were and try to improve. It’s not going to be different with this game.
‘I am going to rewatch the game and see my mistakes and try to improve for the next game.’
