Respectable BBC journalist, David Ornstein earlier reported on Arsenal’s immediate interests for Inter Milan winger, Ivan Perisic.
The Gunners are looking to acquire him on loan this January with an option to move him permanently next summer for £35m. Perisic has been on the shortlist of a number of clubs over the years due to his impressive performances for the Nerazzurri.
He could offer Arsenal exactly what they need in attack, support from the flanks. The North London outfit has still not found replacements for Alexis Sanchez or Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang might be able to still perform as a makeshift winger but we all know how lethal he truly can be from the centre-forward spot.
Unai Emery’s top objective this season remains a top-four Premier League finish and that is becoming increasingly hard with Manchester United’s rich vein of form under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
They have failed to restrengthen their squad this January with a move for Denis Suarez falling through in the final stages. However, Inter manager, Luciano Spaletti have stated that Perisic could be on the move out of the San Siro if the right price is offered.
He was quoted – “Perisic is a very good player. Of course, there’s rumours about him during the transfer window. If a player is good, it’s obvious that every club would want him. Of course, then the figures must be adequate for things to go through.”
