Arsenal have been handed a major boost in their next clash in the Europa League quarterfinal where they have been drawn against Napoli. The Serie A side, however, have announced that three of their key players might miss their trip to the Emirates Stadium for the first leg of the matchup on April 11, 2019. The three players are Lorenzo Insigne, Vlad Chiriches and Amadou Diawara. While Insigne and Chiriches are nursing abductor muscle and thigh injuries respectively, Diawara has been sidelined with a foot injury. Napoli reportedly have also released a statement confirming the injury crisis of the three players.
The Gunners did well both times in the last two rounds at the Emirates Stadium in the second leg and overturned the deficit from the first leg to advance to the next round. However, they have not been able to do well in the first legs of the matches on both the occasions and that is where the problem lies for the north London club. They have looked vulnerable away from home and a team like Napoli might take advantage of that and hit them hard on the counter to take away the tie from them. So Unai Emery’s men need to do well and take as much advantage as possible of the absence of the players from the Napoli lineup in the first leg of their Europa League clash.
