Paul Brown reckons Arsenal have every chance of staying top before WC.
According to journalist Paul Brown, Arsenal have a great chance of going into the World Cup as the Premier League leader.
The North London club continued their outstanding start to the season with a 1-0 victory at Leeds on Sunday. Meanwhile, Man City lost their away game against Liverpool which saw Arsenal move four points clear at the top of the table.
Arteta’s side lost just one game in Premier League that came against Manchester United. Gunners are now competing for the title and they would look to earn Champions League qualification this season.
They have won nine of their first 10 games for the first time ever in the Premier League. It’s a dream season for the Gunners so far.
If they win the next four from their next four games, they will ensure they head into the break next month sitting pretty at the top. Brown reckons they have every chance of achieving that feat.
He told GIVEMESPORT: “It’s a nice little run for them and you’d expect them the way they’re going to keep putting the points on the board.
“The other teams around them haven’t really found much consistency either yet, so there’s no reason to think that Arsenal won’t be top of the league by the time the World Cup starts.”
