Football.London claims that the striker is available for £8 million due to his situation at North London.
Balogun has impressed at youth level for Arsenal but his move to the senior side is currently blocked by Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah. Mikel Arteta has not convinced him of a future at Arsenal like he has with Nketiah and others. Balogun’s contract is also running out and Arsenal risk losing him for free next year.
Back in January, Brentford came in with a bid of £5m which the Gunners turned down. They cannot make grounds on a contract extension and Stuttgart are also reportedly interested. The ideal scenario for Arsenal would be to sign him to a new deal and send him out on loan. Right now, it looks far from ideal.
Balogun is a top talent and the hype surrounding him is justified. He has absolutely demolished the youth levels with his scoring spree. Just last season, he grabbed 10 goals in 15 Premier League 2 appearances. His future looks very bright but unfortunately, it does not seem to be at Arsenal.
