Miguel Azeez’s departure from UD Ibiza was officially announced on Wednesday after an agreement was reached with Arsenal to sever his loan.
Ibiza praised Azeez for his time at the club and gave him his best wishes. During his tenure at the club, Azeez had eight starts and 11 appearances in Ibiza’s 19 games, which isn’t a bad record. But more lately, he had trouble finding games.
Ibiza has experienced a few managerial changes throughout Azeez’s tenure, which contributed to some of the issues. He played frequently for Javier Baraja, hardly at all for Juan Anquela, the temporary manager, and after a few starts for Lucas Alcaraz, he lost his spot once more.
Azeez played in every game for the manager who signed him, but the following two managers were unable to include him in the lineup. The greatest outcome for him would have been a recall from the loan.
Even if Azeez is now not a genuine contender for the first team, Arsenal is a little short in the midfield. It’s obvious that the club believed the player required a loan a few months ago, and it’s unlikely that impression has altered in that time. More likely is a new loan.
