The Iconic player will no longer be a Gunner when contract expires
Arsenal confirm Santi Cazorla will be leaving the club.
The Gunners have confirmed Santi Cazorla will leave emirates when his contract expires next month.
Cazorla had a brilliant career at Arsenal but in recent seasons injuries took toll and sucked the game time out of his undoubted talent.
The Spaniard has 78 caps for his country, he signed for Arsenal from Malaga in the summer of 2012 and scored 29 goals in 180 appearances for the Gunners in the process.
Cazorla’s last appearance for Arsenal was back in October 2016, with an Achilles injury keeping him out of action since then.
Santi wrote:
“Hola Arsenal fans. I am sad to be leaving after so many great times.
“I have loved my time with the club and will always remember the special moments we had together. You have always given me special support and I will miss you.Thank you everyone.”
