According to reports, during the summer transfer window, Arsenal would try to sign Rodrygo, a 24-year-old Brazilian international, from Real Madrid. Arsenal is reportedly interested in Rodrygo, according to a report by the Spanish publication Fichajes. As the summer transfer window approaches, the Gunners are searching the market for a dynamic attacker. The attacking stalwart of Real Madrid has therefore become a target for the North London team, even though the defending La Liga winners do not want to let him go in the upcoming months.

Arsenal has taken notice of the striker due to his skill and performances, and according to Fichajes, Mikel Arteta, the manager of the Gunners, is personally eager to bring the forward to the Emirates Stadium. The Brazilian is seen by Arteta as a “key” player in raising Arsenal’s offensive caliber. But it will be difficult for Arsenal to persuade Madrid to let go of one of their greatest and most valuable players.

According to Fichajes, Rodrygo’s “departure seems unlikely unless Arsenal makes an irresistible offer.” According to the article, the amount required for a possible deal would be close to €100 million (£82.7 million or £104.5 million).

Arsenal in pole position to sign Real Madrid star

The goal of the Gunners might be to raid Carlo Ancelotti’s team. Arsenal reportedly has several strikers on their radar, including Alexander Isak of Newcastle United, Benjamin Sesko of RB Leipzig, Dušan Vlahović of Juventus, Viktor Gyokeres of Sporting Lisbon, Hugo Ekitiké of Eintracht Frankfurt, Roberto Firmino of Liverpool, who is a very left-field option, and Endrick of Real Madrid.

The need for Arteta to recruit a vocalist this summer has long been suspected, but injuries to Havertz and Jesus have only made it more obvious. Real Madrid’s 3-1 victory over Man City at home on Wednesday demonstrated the 24-year-old Brazil international’s skill set, which goes far beyond only scoring goals and dishing out assists in the closing third. It is evident why Arsenal’s manager is interested in him.

“Rodrygo has such quality that, when you see him, you get the impression that playing football is something easy,” said former Brazil boss Tite. “Because he has highly developed technique. He is very fine, 24and he is a talent that has been developed for many years in the Brazilian youth teams.
