Melo has previously been linked with a move to Arsenal’s London rivals Spurs.
Arsenal are planning to make some moves in January’s transfer window and they are interested in Juventus midfielder Arthur Melo.
According to Sky Italia, Arsenal head Mikel Arteta is keen for some reinforcements in midfield – particularly with Thomas Partey absent at the Africa Cup of Nations – and a loan move for Arthur has been discussed.
North London club are yet to make contact with Juventus about any deal.
It comes as a move for Lyon midfielder Bruno Guimaraes looks less likely, due to the £37.5m price tag involved.
Melo has previously been linked with a move to Arsenal’s London rivals Spurs though that was before his switch to Italy in 2020.
