Roma winger and Turkish national team player Genghis Under is causing a great deal of interest among Premier League clubs.
The 22-year-old wonderkid showed great potential, but during this season he was tormented by injuries and that prevented him from earning a starting place in Paulo Fonseca’s team. He joined Roma in 2017 and has immediately become one of their best players.
Arsenal are hoping to throw in some cash in addition to Henrikh Mkhitaryan staying in the Italian capital, in order to get their hands on the 22 year old Turk. He has scored 29 goals in 85 appearances for AS Roma.
Therefore, they are ready to sell the Turkish national team player if an offer of between 30 and 40 million euros arrives, and Arsenal and Tottenham are showing the strongest interest in Under.
According to the report, Arsenal would need to offer Mkhitaryan for Cengiz Under, plus a fee of around 9 million euros. This way, his enormous wage of 200.000 euros per week would be eased on the Arsenal budget.
The two London clubs have already contacted his agent and started the battle for Under’s signature.
