Haaland grabbed all the headlines on Tuesday after becoming the third-youngest player to score a hat-trick in the Champions League.
The 19-year-old has already collected a remarkable tally of 17 goals this season and is quickly becoming the most sought after young striker in Europe.
Szoboszlai, along with Haaland got on the scoresheet for Salzburg in Tuesday’s 6-2 triumph over CAA Genk. Arsenal approached the Austrian outfit for Szoboszlai this summer but instead, chose to sign Dani Ceballos on loan from Real Madrid.
While the Spaniard has been a hit at Emirates, his future is uncertain with the Gunners. Should Arsenal fail to sign him out permanently, there is a real chance they will pursue Szoboszlai ambitiously.
The 18-year-old is wanted by a number of top European clubs including Serie A champions, Juventus. He has really burst onto the scene with his playmaking abilities, showcasing a lot of creative skills and maturity for a player of his age.
Arsenal are on the lookout for creative talent but they are willing to wait out the season to see how their younger talents fare. Emile Smith-Rowe showed a lot of promise last season and has a chance to make a real impression this term too after being kept on by Emery.
