Arsenal interested in RB Leipzig striker Lois Openda.

The Gunners are reportedly interested in splashing £78 million on RB Leipzig striker Lois Openda in the summer window.

Despite signing Gabriel Jesus from Manchester City last summer, Mikel Arteta wants a striker with a different profile.

Lois Openda has been in spectacular form for the German side in the current season and has managed to contribute towards seven goals already.

The Belgian striker has a €70 million release clause in his contract and is one of the hottest prospects in European football.

He joined Lens in the summer of 2022 and went on to have a stellar season with the French club as he scored 21 goals and bagged four assists in the entire campaign.

Recent reports have linked the Belgian forward with a move to Manchester United but Arsenal are also one of the clubs who are watching him closely.

Openda is also a great dribbler and has the capability of finishing with both his feet.

Arsenal wants to sign a new number nine and the versatile Belgian forward could be a perfect addition for Mikel Arteta’s side.
