Arsenal have joined the race for Napoli striker Victor Osimhen
After scoring 21 goals in 44 league games for Napoli, the Nigerian has become one of the most sought-after attackers in the world.
After the departure of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is looking to bring in a strong striker this summer.
Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nkeitah are also approaching the end of their contracts. Osimhen is on Arsenal’s radar.
Their pursuit of Osimhen, however, would be contingent on whether they have the cash to match Napoli’s asking price of £84 million.
The north London team is presently fourth in the Premier League, and qualifying for the Champions League might help them recruit Osimhen next summer.
Manchester United and Newcastle United are also interested in signing the 23-year-old.
Newcastle have joined Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur, and Manchester United in their pursuit of Victor Osimhen. After a strong season in Serie A, the Napoli star is in high demand, with numerous Premier League teams looking to enhance their attack squads.
After losing Aubameyang to Barcelona in the January transfer window, the Gunners are searching for reinforcements up front, with just Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah out of contract in the summer.
