Thierry Henry has not given up on his managerial career after getting sacked by AS Monaco last season.
The Frenchman revealed that he often sneaks back into the Emirates to view Arsenal games without anybody noticing his presence.
Henry was in charge of 20 games for the Ligue 1 outfit and delivered only 4 wins. He has since been spending his time developing his own strengths as a coach by reviewing games of his former club.
“I manage to go to games without people noticing me, which is great,” Henry said. “Sometimes I go to Arsenal and people don’t even know I’m there.”
The Gunners record goalscorer also revealed that he had been invited by the respective managers of Luton Town and Newport County, Graham Jones and Michael Flynn to observe their games while he was getting his coaching license.
He continued, “Call me crazy if you want, but I love football and I believe I can be a successful coach. I’m not thinking about the pain, I’m not thinking about failure. I don’t like easy. I like to lead and it’s on me to make it happen.”
Now, that is exactly the sort of positive attitude that made Henry one of the greatest strikers in the history of this sport. The Arsenal legend is not taking any shortcuts and he can definitely make his way to the very top as a manager.
