Martin Odegaard had an impressive start to the new season.
The Norwegian midfielder has already scored three goals this season and had a phenomenal start to the new campaign.
The Gunners are currently sitting at the top of the league table winning all four games.
Club legend Ian Wright has plauded captain Martin Odegaard for his influence in the Gunners squad.
He said on Match of the Day: “The captain led by example today with his pressing, his passing, his composure, he was finding space.
“He’s done well, that’s three goals in three games.
“He’s right in that number one area, making things happen, keeping it going for the boys.
“He was passing the ball into areas where you can hurt them (the opposition). People will say it was fortunate (his goal) but Arsenal deserved that for the way they kept going.
“It was a brilliant performance from them. Great mentality from the boys, Fulham have done very well but I think in the end Arsenal just deserved it.”
