Aaron Ramsey wants Arsenal to lift the Premier League title this season.
The Gunners made a strong start to the new campaign winning three out of four games in the top flight.
Arsenal spent heavily this summer to challenge Manchester City for the Premier League title.
Club legend Aaron Ramsey who left Juventus in 2019 believes his ex-teammate Mikel Arteta always had the tools to become a top manager.
The duo were teammates for five years at Arsenal winning two FA Cups together in 2014 and 2015.
“You could always see Arteta had the knowledge, intensity and desire to be a manager one day,” Ramsey said. “He has been brilliant for Arsenal. I would have loved to win the Premier League while I was there and I am rooting for the current side to go on and achieve it.
“They’ve signed good players this summer, they’re back in the Champions League and they’re in a good place. Hopefully, they can go one step further. I remember Arteta came through the Welsh set-up and we had a couple of conversations while he was doing it.”
