Arsenal chief Edu is in contact for Palmeiras midfielder Danilo.
Bolavip says Gunners are still on the lookout for more midfielders and have already launched an enquiry to sign Palmeiras star Danilo.
Club’s technical director Edu was heavily linked with his compatriot during the winter transfer window. It ultimately led to nothing, but the North London club have conducted a fresh consultation with an eye on making a bid at the end of the season.
The report also adds that Gunners bosses are fully aware that negotiations with the club world cup runner-ups will be difficult, who do not want to sell at any price.
The Brazilian club midfielder has spent the last two seasons with Palmeiras and helped to win back-to-back Copa Libertadores titles. He was also named the third-best player at the FIFA Club World Cup this year.
At the age of 20, the midfielder would be a potential option for Arsenal. They would likely need to bid more than £10million to acquire his services.
