Arsenal are planning to move for Everton striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin if they fail to sign Dusan Vlahovic from Fiorentina.
The Everton star has been on Arsenal’s radar for some time, as they seek a reliable centre-forward for Mikel Arteta.
As per the reports of the Daily Star, Arsenal wanted to sign Vlahovic this month, but the Fiorentina striker is reluctant.
He is holding out for a move to a bigger club, and may even move to Juventus in this window. Most probably, Juventus has sealed the signing and they will announce it soon.
Meanwhile, Any Arsenal move for Calvert-Lewin is likely to come in the summer, as Everton are loath to lose their main source of goals when they are so close to the relegation places in the Premier League. Gunners haven’t made a single signing this winter.
