Arsenal are reportedly looking to make a move for Everton defensive ace Michael Keane in the next summer transfer window. The Gunners have been facing issues regarding their defence with Rob Holding out for a long term with injury and Laurent Koscielny and Shkodran Mustafi not being able to dish out consistent performances. This is where the England international might come into play.
The former Burnley defender did not have a good last season for the Toffees. However, he kept working on his skills and has found a new rhythm in his playing style and has been one of the best defenders in the league this season. His consistent performances have once again helped him win a place back in the Three Lions squad and he also scored a goal in his last match against Montenegro in the Euro 2020 qualifiers.
The Gunners have struggled to find the right partnership in the backline so far this season and it would be a good inclusion for them if they can land the Everton defender in the next summer transfer window. However, given that it would take a hefty amount to get the player out of Goodison Park, it is to be seen how they go about the transfer.
