According to reports, Arsenal is preparing a “shock loan proposal” to temporarily sign Eduardo Camavinga away from Real Madrid until the summer

Mykhaylo Mudryk was viewed as Arsenal’s top target before to the January transfer window. However, Chelsea beat them to the acquisition in a deal that might ultimately cost the London club over £88 million after having a few bids turned down.

In recent months, Arsenal has displayed skill in the transfer market and has moved swiftly to get other objectives. Leandro Trossard’s £27 million transfer was finalised on Friday after Tottenham Hotspur had expressed interest.

Additionally, they are close to finalising a deal to pay somewhat more than £20 million to acquire Spezia defender Jakub Kiwio. The team led by Mikel Arteta is strengthening its roster in an effort to increase their chances of winning the Premier League this year. They still lack a center-midfielder, but according to The Evening Standard, they are thinking of sending Camavinga on loan until the summer.

The 20-year-old from Rennes was signed by Real Madrid in 2021 for approximately £34 million. He is thought to be one of the most promising young players in European football. The France international has started just six games in La Liga, so he has been in and out of the lineup this year. Carlo Ancelotti, the manager of Real Madrid, recently defended Camavinga by stating that he “truly believes” in the young player.

Before this month, no one could have expected this transfer, but it could be advantageous to all sides. Arsenal needs more options in the middle of the pitch, and Camavinga may return to Real Madrid a stronger player after receiving crucial Premier League experience. Although it’s unlikely that Arsenal will permanently sign Camavinga, Declan Rice of West Ham is the club’s “number one priority for the summer.”
