Arsenal midfielder closing in on finalising summer move to Saudi Pro League

Arsenal midfielder still has one year left in his contract at Emirates.

Arsenal may lose its premium midfielder this summer as he is planning to move to Saudi Pro League. Thomas Partey is also getting interest from Jose Mourinho’s Fenerbahce. He can leave the club during the summer transfer window.

In the previous concluded season, Partey struggled with hamstring and groin injury. He played only 16 games for Arsenal across all competitions.

Arsenal finished as the runner-up in the Premier League and made into the quarterfinals of the Champions League. Mikel Arteta have to rely on Jorginho in defensive midfield.

The 31-year-old joined Arsenal from Atletico Madrid in the summer of 2020. He still has one year left in his contract at Emirates.

As per the reports of Football Insider, the Gunners have no intention of offering the Ghanaian international an extension on his deal. They are ready to take offers for him considering his final year at Emirates.

Mikel Arteta now wants to bring some young talent and he will be busy this summer. The Gunners have set an asking price of between £20m to £25m to part ways with Partey.

The former Atletico man has netted five goals and provided four assists in 115 appearances since his move to the Premier League.
