Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey is likely to do comeback by October as a target for his injury return. The 30-year-old was ruled out for at least six weeks last month due to a groin injury in training.
Ghana international missed Arsenal’s trip to Old Trafford. He was also left out of the squad for games against the Central African Republic and Liberia.
He started his recovery process and will be back next month. He will miss the action in September. Partey will be absent from Premier League games against Everton, Tottenham and Bournemouth.
Arsenal midfielder is also out from next week’s Champions League opener against PSV Eindhoven and the EFL Cup meeting with Brentford.
As per the Evening Standard, the Gunners are not willing to rush Partey back from injury. He may struggle to return in time for a Champions League game with Lens and a Premier League clash with Man City in October. He might be back in the second half of October.
