English pundit Perry Groves has compared the signings of Manchester United right back Aaron Wan Bissaka and Arsenal new boy Kieran Tierney.
While Groves feels that Wan Bissaka is better defensively, he reckons Tierney will be a better option attacking wise.
“Celtic fans sort of understand that players are going to move on,” Groves said on talkSPORT. “They get it, because they want to go into the Premier League with the riches and it’s a standard up. You think that Wan-Bissaka goes for £50m but that’s because he’s played a season in the Premier League and Kieran Tierney’s yet to prove that. Kieran Tierney is better going forward than Wan-Bissaka, Wan-Bissaka is a better defender than what Kieran Tierney is.”
“Isn’t £25m, doesn’t it feel like a deal for Arsenal as opposed to Celtic?” Cundy said. “I’ve seen Wan-Bissaka, I’ve seen enough and I saw him on Sunday. The kid is class, there’s no doubt. But I’ve seen Kieran Tierney as well, what this boy’s got under the bonnet. £25m is cheap, Arsenal have got a deal.”
Arsenal and United face off very soon before match day 10 and fans will get to see these two new boys in action right away!
