Arsenal are planning to offer a massive contract to unsettled Manchester City striker Gabriel Jesus.
According to the Daily Mail, the Gunners are prepared to double Gabriel Jesus’ wage at Manchester City in a bid to lure him to Emirates.
The 25-year-old has been linked with a move away from the Premier League champions this summer as the club signed Erling Haaland signed last month.
However, the Citizens are reportedly ready to speak to Gabriel Jesus’ representatives in the coming days while the Brazilian is on international duty.
The North London club have placed Jesus firmly at the top of their summer priority. Arsenal are looking for a better replacement in the 25-year-old striker after saying goodbye to Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette in 2022.
Manager Mikel Arteta is believed to have held an excellent working relationship with the Brazilian during his time as assistant boss at the Manchester City and both parties are reportedly keen on a deal.
Arsenal have already held initial talks with his agent Marcelo Pettinati but have since enhanced their offer following interest from other European clubs.
