Arsenal completed a happy and incredible return in the second leg of the round of 16 match versus Rennes. They won 3-0 on the night and this is how the players reacted to the win.

Maitland Niles has hailed Unai Emery and his tactics for helping Arsenal to score their second goal, the header from the winger. “The manager keeps telling me to get in the box for crosses when we play five at the back so that’s what I tried to do. “It was a great feeling to go 2-0 up so early on in the game.”

And the Hale End graduate also had some words of praise for the home support. “The atmosphere at home has been fantastic. We need our fans to be behind us and we’re just showing our fans that we appreciate it by going out there and getting good results.”

While in other news, Pierre Emerick Aubameyang has explained his happiness at winning and explained why he wore the black panther mask. “I needed a mask which could represent me. It’s Black Panther. In Gabon the national team are the panthers. It represents me,” Aubameyang told BT Sport after the match.
