Arsenal players love Arteta’s training sessions

The Arsenal players are loving life under Arteta. 

After Arsenal won 2-0 over Manchester United on Wednesday, the team is gaining faith over Arteta’s capabilities as a manager.

David Luiz admits that after Arsenal has a string of defeats, Arteta came like a breath of fresh air. The victory over Manchester United boosted the confidence of the entire team. But Luiz knows that one victory isn’t everything – victories and triumphs must be achieved “step by step”. 

‘I believe he can improve every player,’ said Luiz. ‘Mikel is a great coach and knows football. He was a great player, he brings things and I believe in his philosophy. ‘We are going to do big things in the future, but step by step.’ 

Nicolas Pepe came in with the opening goal for Arsenal in the match against Man United. He also believes that Arteta has a solid foundation and his ideas are making more and more sense with Arsenal players everday.

‘We are doing a lot, a lot of video during training in order to perform well during the match,’ said Pepe. ‘We performed well, we were solid defensively, we were good going forward.

Change can’t happen overnight but it seems that Arteta knows that and is working towards it!
